Systems Management > Report Management SAVRS SAVRS completely automates the accumulation, viewing archival and retrieval of JCL, SYSOUT, SYSLOG, JOBLOG and other critical JES output (OS/390* and z/OS*). SAVRS is an output-management tool that can save an installation up to 90 percent of the human and machine resources currently allocated for these tasks. By allowing users to access system information online rather than printing it, SAVRS can provide significant savings in printer and paper costs. Additionally, SAVRS significantly reduces the personnel and system resources required to review failed jobs and JCL errors. The SAVRS output-management system helps reduce costs by allowing users to browse any SYSOUT or SYSLOG online and print only the information required. Data Encryption Facility Providing an effective and user-friendly interface between the algorithm and the user is the primary objective of Data Encryption Facility (DEF*). It offers Advanced Encryption Standard, DES, DESX and 3DES encryption for the z/OS* and CICS* under z/OS environments. DEF provides a key-management program, utility programs, batch programs and Assembler-language subroutines to provide encryption and decryption of data to a wide range of users. DEF supports file, records within files, field and database encryption. No new hardware, system generation or modifications are required. CS FDRCRYPT Backup Meet U.S. government guidelines (FISMA, GLBA, HIPAA and SOX), state identityprotection regulations (CA SB 1386/1950) and commercial governance like PCI-DSS to protect data leaving your control for off-site retention and information sharing. FDRCRYPT* extends FDR, FDR/UPSTREAM and RESERVOIR to protect backup tapes and B2B data-exchange files against unauthorized access. Employing System z9* and System z10* EC CPACF Advanced Encryption Standard hardware instructions for the most efficient performance, offering transparent software data encryption, as well as RSA public key infrastructure for B2B data-exchange keys, users can select an appropriate level of protection for any file sent offsite, while a no-fee, downloadable module allows unlicensed partner sites to accept and exchange FDRCRYPT B2B files. CS Applied Software Inc. Ron Turner (215) 297-9441 sales@appliedsoftware.com www.appliedsoftware.com Software Engineering of America Jay Thakker (516) 328-7000 sea@seasoft.com www.seasoft.com EncryptRIGHT EncryptRIGHT provides a user-friendly environment to implement enterprise-wide, central key management and data security. Unlike many encryption products, EncryptRIGHT was designed so security administrators can make the security decisions and thus insulate programmers from the gritty details of cryptography. EncryptRIGHT makes it easy to determine what data to protect, how to protect it, the security level of employees and key-management policies. Set up properly, it can accommodate many new requirements without programming. EncryptRIGHT lets you replace ad hoc keymanagement policies with automated, enterprisewide key management that includes extensive audit capabilities. The API makes it easy to program security into an application. INNOVATION Data Processing (973) 890-7300 sales@fdrinnovation.com www.innovationdp.fdr.com/products/fdrcrypt > Security CA Security Management for Mainframe Minimize your data risks and maximize your infrastructure investment while optimizing security operations with CA technology. Products like CA ACF2*, CA Top Secret*, CA VM:Secure* for z/VM*, CA Auditor for z/OS* and CA Cleanup help you simplify security management by minimizing administration, increasing automation, productivity and operational efficiencies. Use automated user interfaces to help simplify the monitoring and management of resources and applications. Ensure seamless integration with simplified cross-product, crossplatform integration for security access control and administration. CA’s Mainframe Security solutions are an important component of Mainframe 2.0, CA’s strategy that is designed to change the way the mainframe is managed. FDRERASE for z/OS and FDRERASE/OPEN These are the only U.S. government EAL2+ certified data-protection solutions for erasing mainframe and open-systems disk residing in enterprise disk-storage systems from EMC, Hitachi, IBM, Sun/StorageTek and other vendors. FDRERASE* for z/OS* and FDRERASE/OPEN* comply with all current U.S. Department of Defense and federal government agency guidelines like FISMA, GLBA, HIPAA and SOX, as well as with commercial-governance standards like PCI-DSS and state personal-identityprotection regulations for erasing disks to securely remove critical, privileged, financial and personal identity information from enterprise disk storage before disposal or repurposing. This can be important as a way of scrubbing that information before leaving a disasterrecovery site. CS CS Prime Factors Inc.
